In my case, it has given me a totally new perspective in life. It helped me to reconnect to my heart and myself. I started to be more in tune with my body and my mind. I started to honour my feelings - and this is probably one of the most important lessons I’ve learned.
Furthermore, I now understand the importance of taking your time and not comparing yourself to anyone. You‘re on this self-discovery journey yourself so please honour yourself by appreciating everything you’ve accomplished, because you have come a long way!
With that said, yoga has given me stability in my body and stability in my mind. It has given me much more clarity in the way I want to continue living my life. Of course, nothing is easy in life but with persistence and not giving up, the path forward has become much more clearer and in fact more enjoyable.
